Sigma Chi Psi is dedicated to establishing itself as the premier independent multicultural collegiate Greek sorority, uniquely serving women who are pursuing their degrees online. Our vision is to create a national network. While our primary focus is on women enrolled in online universities, we also welcome members from community and technical colleges. It's important to clarify that We operate virtually with a strong commitment to fostering connections both virtually and in person.
Our membership requirements differ from those of traditional, in-person collegiate Greek sororities. Nonetheless, we uphold a key tradition common to most Greek letter organizations: the value of privacy. This means that certain aspects of our information and processes are not disclosed to the public.
To ensure the confidentiality and integrity of our organization, any information beyond what is provided through the links provided below is considered organizationally confidential. Additional information is exclusively available to individuals who receive an invitation to our intake process.
Eligibility to Request an Application:

To receive an invitation to intake, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Ability to Follow Instructions: Given our virtual mode of operation, it is important that applicants are adept at following instructions accurately.

Social Media Engagement: Applicants are expected to follow our Instagram and Facebook pages.

Social Media Information: As part of the application, you will be asked to provide your social media details. Our organization values inclusivity and does not discriminate based on race, sex, religion, etc. We review your social media to ensure alignment with our values. If you do not have social media, alternative instructions will be provided in the application email.

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must fit into one of the categories listed in the "Who Can Apply" section.

Complete and Accurate Application: All required information on the application must be provided, or an explanation should be given for any missing details.

Transcript Submission: Transcripts are mandatory. Instructions for sending your transcript will be provided in the application. A minimum GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale is required. We accept both unofficial and official transcripts sent directly from your school or a third-party service like Parchment or Student Clearing House. Transcripts sent from an applicant's personal or school email are not accepted.

Enrollment Verification for New Students: Newly enrolled students are required to submit an enrollment verification letter.

Completion of Application Process: Both parts of the application, along with all required credentials, must be completed for consideration to receive an invite to intake.
Intake:
Upon receiving an invitation to intake, you will be provided with further details to help you decide whether to proceed with the process. It's important to note that a basic level of tech-savviness is required to complete intake. Your intake invitation will cover various aspects, including an overview of our accomplishments, and extra fees involved, as well as guidelines, expectations, and the evaluation process.
